PASTOR EMERSON GRAHAM

Pastor Albert Emerson Graham was born and raised in Barrie, Ontario.  He met his sweetheart; Enid Margaret Knapp when they were teenagers.  They were married for over sixty years before he passed away in January 1998.

On their 60th anniversary, they received a certificate from the Prime Minister (1995) Emerson Graham was ordained in by the Miracle Revival Fellowship on February 16, 1973.

During his 40 years of ministry, he served at the correctional centre in Barrie for over 40 years counselling the inmates.  As mentioned above, he was one of the founders of the Pentecostal movements in the early 40’s.  On May 18, 1994, Rev. Graham received the Community Service Award for his outstanding service.

Emerson began to loose his vision and eventually was only able to see shadows.  With the Lord’s help, he was able to live a full life; he walked everywhere.  If someone came up to him, it was the Lord who told him who the person was.

In January 1998, he stepped outside one cold winter day to do some work when he suddenly took a massive heart attack and in an instant, he was present with the Lord before he hit the ground.  He has been sadly missed since and always will be.
